There are new updates for Superman: Legacy; an upcoming DCU movie – directed and written by one of the heads of DC Studios; James Gunn.
Alongside this movie; Peter Safran and James Gunn also announced some of the content for Chapter One of the new DC Universe.
As celebrations begin for the 85th anniversary of the character being around, and the 45th anniversary of Superman (1978) being shown again in cinemas during April, Gunn has shared a new update about Legacy; alongside an image showing the front cover for the Superman: Legacy script.

Gunn writes that the movie has now entered early pre-production for costume/production design and more and James has mentioned that Jimmy Olsen will also be in the movie, when a fan asked.
‘I’m honored to be a part of the legacy. And what better day than #SupermanAnniversary Day to dive fully into early pre-production on #SupermanLegacy? Costumes, production design, and more now up and running.’
