Warner Bros. recently posted a deleted scene featuring an interrogation between The Batman and Joker. This was to ask Joker for help in solving Riddler’s case.
Barry Keoghan starred as this new iteration of The Joker, that was inspired by The Man Who Laughs (1928).
A fan on twitter spotted that the Joker has taken a paper clip from the files, that were passed to him. This would allow for a potential escape.
When the movie released, this confirmed our articles that covered Barry Keoghan being in test screenings back in November 2021. As well as an article reporting in mid-February, that prosthetics were designed for Barry Keoghan and credited as an unseen Arkham prisoner.
Will Joker be in The Batman Sequel?
Matt Reeves (the director for The Batman movie), has not intended for these scenes to be a definitive answer; for Joker being in the sequel. There’s no set villains that have been reported yet.
“So the scene is not meant to be there to say, ‘Oh, here’s an Easter egg. The next movie is X.’ I don’t know that the Joker would be in the next movie, but I can tell you that here’s what you’re seeing, is an early days version of this character, and trouble, as always, is brewing in Gotham.”
