Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has wrapped filming. James Gunn shares new wrap party photos and information about the last day of filming. As well as an unannounced actor?
James Gunn has announced that filming has wrapped for his third installment. The last day of filming involved Sean Gunn; peforming the motion capture for Rocket Raccoon.
The director also shared an image of the slate for the final shot, stating there have been ‘over 100 days of shooting & over 3000 shots’ on this movie.
Unanounced actor
While celebrating the wrap party, James Gunn has also teased that he couldn’t share another cast photo with Zoe Saldana in, due to there being an ‘unanounced actor’.
Gunn has also mentioned that Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel have never been on set, after a fan asked why they are never in cast photos.
The team is ending?
A fan asked how many Guardians of the Galaxy movies James would make if he were to be give free roam by Marvel Studios. Gunn responded:
I’ve made the three I’ve made on my own terms. This is the end of this story & of this team.
