Deadpool 3 is going to be another Marvel multiverse/time travel movie and it’s looking to be filled with cameos. This sequel is directed by Shawn Levy.
Initally, in September, 2022, it was confirmed that Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine and now Jennifer Garner is reportedly coming back as Elektra.
In the second film, Wade Wilson fixes Cable’s device, which enables him to travel not only in time, but to different universes; where he even kills an actor version of himself (Ryan Reynolds), reading the script for Green Lantern, and many other crazy moments.
TVA (Time Variance Authority); seen first in the Disney+ Loki series could be persuing Deadpool in this third film. Wade was making so many alterations to time, especially saving his partner Vanessa (Morena Baccarin).
The Hollywood Reporter posted an article that the Fox-verse version of Elektra played by Jennifer Garner, is returning. Garner was in a solo spin-off movie in 2005, however her first appearance in the role was in Daredevil (2003) – starring alongside ex-husband Ben Affleck as Matt Murdock.

Could Deadpool 3 loosely be following the comic book Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe?
In the first story for Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe by Cullen Bunn; Deadpook kills the Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom, Howard the Duck, Spider-Man and a slew of multiple other Marvel characters.
With characters such as Wolverine, Elektra, as well as rumoured characters Ian McKellen as Magneto, Halle Berry as Storm, Jessica Alba as Sue Storm, James Marsden as Cylcops and many others from 20th Century Fox movies set to return.
The storyline could involve Deadpool killing the Fox-verse from X-Men and Fantastic Four movies, making for a very wacky and multiverse wild ride, with Wade and Logan also on the run from the TVA.
Deadpool 3’s release date was recently changed to come out earlier on May 3, 2024. However, six other MCU movies have been delayed.
