James Gunn confirms that, there is more of Margot Robbie’s character Harley Quinn set to return and also appear across multiple DCEU movies and or tv shows.
Margot Robbie’s latest appearance as Harley Quinn was seen in the DCEU movie The Suicide Squad.
In recent tweets, where James Gunn tends to always responds to fans questions to uncover future movie information. One fan @LawrencesGunn asks ‘Will Harley Quinn return in the DCEU?’ and Gunn responds ‘Yes.’
Throughout Gunn’s Twitter thread, the director hints at there being more than one appearance to come.
A Twitter user @hisdarkmateria mentions that ‘I pray to sweet lord you return to Harls one more time…’ and James Gunn teased the fan with this response ‘Only once more?’.
There’s no details on James Gunn’s future DCEU projects involving Margot Robbie, other than a project that was announced a while ago called Gotham City Sirens. This movie is said to be a sequel to Birds of Prey.
The director is still currently busy in the process of editing Marvel Studios’ film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Margot Robbie has also currently been filming with Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell for the upcoming movie Barbie – directed by Greta Gerwig. While working on multiple other upcoming movies; Babylon, Amsterdam and Asteroid City.
This isn’t the only live-action Harley Quinn iteration to be in new movies, as Lady Gaga is expected to be taking up the role of Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Pheonix in sequel Joker: Folie à Deux.
