Dardevil: Born Again
On March 7, Jon Bernthal was announced to be reprising his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher, for the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again – starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Filming is well underway.
Layoffs at Disney
Ike Perlumutter (Chairman of Marvel Entertainment) and Victoria Alonso, formerly known as the chief of Marvel Studios VFX and post-production have both been fired amongst the 7,000 layoffs within Disney.
Captain America: New World Order
Captain America: New World Order continues to film in Georgia. Fans are convinced this is basically a Hulk movie as set photos appear online from Just Jared, revealing Liv Tyler and Anthony Mackie at a funeral, and Harrison Ford and Tim Blake Nelson in another location.
There also more photos of Danny Ramirez and Anthony Mackie on set.
Jonathan Majors’ arrest
Following Jonathan Majors arrest for assault and harrassment charges; the incident has Marvel reportedly looking into discussing options with the actor, going forward in the role.
Currently Majors’ appearance has been filmed for Loki season 2, however it’s not clear on whether he will be involved in further projects.
Secret Invasion
New stills are released by Vanity Fair; for the Secret Invasion series, featuring: Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Emilia Clarke (revealed to be Talos’ grown up daughter, seen first in the Captain Marvel film), Kingsley Ben-Adir, Martin Freeman and Olivia Colman. Secret Invasion is currently set to premiere on Disney+ this June 21, 2023.
Fantastic Four
There has also been a change in writers for the phase 6 Marvel Studios film Fantastic Four. The Hollywood Reporter has reportedly found that Josh Friedman; who wrote the story for Avatar: The Way of Water has been chosen to write for Fantastic Four, in order to take the film in a different tone.
Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer were originally writing for the movie.
Deadpool 3 castings
Deadline has reported that Succession star, Matthew MacFadyen will be joining the MCU for Deadpool 3, as well as well Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams returning to their respective roles: Dopinder and Blind Al.
Filming has already started for this Marvel film with Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
According to Big Screen Leaks, a new trailer has been spotted in cinemas playing before Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves. It’s expected to be releasing online soon. There are also new individual character posters surfacing online for the film.
James Gunn has recently mentioned in his tweets; that Rocket has been the secret protagonist out of the trilogy, this entire time. Cinema tickets go on sale Monday, April 3.

Thunderbolts
In an article from Variety Marvel Studios have hired Beef creator and showrunner Lee Sung Jin, to rewrite the script for Thunderbolts.
New Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer coming soon?
It’s also rumoured by Twitter user @Cryptic4KQual; who finds reliable trailer details, high quality stills/posters, and various other assets, mentions that a new trailer for Sony Pictures animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be online this Monday, April 3. If it happens, we’ll be covering an article on this. Edit: new trailer will be releasing April 4.
