If you’re planning to watch a movie at the cinemas this September, then it’s best to go on National Cinema Day; when tickets are being sold at a great value.
It’s that time of the year again; where UK and Ireland cinema chains celebrate National Cinema Day, by setting all ticket prices at £3/€4 (ROI), for just one day!
The prices will be the same for all tickets, formats (IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX and Superscreen) and showtimes.
National Cinema Day is organized by Cinema First, this includes major participating cinema operators such as Cineworld.
Vue (Standard screenings and Accessibility screenings), Odeon (all cinemas & all screens), Showcase, Empire, Picturehouse and various other venues.
UK Cinema Association has mentioned that the 2022 celebration was a success:
Last year’s National Cinema Day, the first in almost 30 years, saw almost 1.5 million admissions, around three times their normal level as people came together to help celebrate UK cinema-going, the country’s most popular out-of-home leisure activity.
