Marvel Studios is releasing their upcoming MCU film on November 10 (UK); titled The Marvels – directed by Nia DaCosta.
The Marvels is centering around three main characters in this movie, lead by Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau/Photon (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani).
In the new film, these three characters must work in tandem together, in order to stop a threat to the galaxy.
They will also be switching places with eachother, anytime they use their abilities; due to an ancient alien bangle and Kree wormhole

Captain Marvel (2019)
Carol Danvers
It’s the origin of how Carol got her abilities to become Captain Marvel. Watching this; is also to learn and establish Carol Danvers’ past relationship with the Rambeau family; her friend Maria Rambeau, and Danver’s interaction with Maria’s daughter Monica; who will be leading in the new film alongside her, now portrayed by Teyonah Parris.
Captain Marvel has also appeared in Avengers: Endgame and briefly as a hologram in a post-credit scene, at the end of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings; still talking about galactic threats and mysterious signals being detected.
WandaVision (2021)
Monica Rambeau
In this Disney Plus television miniseries; a grown up Monica Rambeau is introduced into the show; working as an agent for S.W.O.R.D. She’s also been one of the victims of The Blip, that took place in Avengers: Infinity War.
Through dealing with Wanda Maximoff’s (Elizabeth Olsen) Hex spells, that trapped civilians inside the town of Westview; Monica discovers her untapped special abilities, to control different forms of energy.
Ms. Marvel (2022)
Kamala Khan
This is one of the recent series, that directly leads into the beginning of The Marvels movie, as Captain Marvel miraculously switches places in space with Kamala.
In this series; it establishes Kamala Khan’s origins and heritage with the bangle, gaining her hard light powers, that somewhat stretch (slightly differing from the comics), and the affects this has on the Khan family life.
It’s possible that they may recap all three character’s journeys at the beginning of The Marvels film.
