Yesterday, there was a big announcement that came out of nowhere from Ryan Reynolds, that Hugh Jackman will be returning as Wolverine for Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3, and this is set in the MCU.
This left fans both surprised and concerned about James Mangold’s Logan movie being tarnished or seen as taking away the meaningful death that happened at the end of the movie.
Now, in this new video posted online today, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman explain that they are not touching Wolverine’s fate in Logan, as “Logan takes place in 2029. Totally separate thing. Logan died in Logan. Not touching that.” Then they both go on to explain what Deadpool 3 is going to be about, but jokingly fade out what they say with the song Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham!
