As the news was recently announced that David Tennant and Catherine Tate are coming back for the 60th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who, filming is already taking place!
There are new set photos revealing the first look of Tenth Doctor; David Tennant in his new outfit, next to the TARDIS. As well as the first glimpse of Catherine Tate’s return; as companion Donna Noble.
Does anyone else also think that Tennants new outfit feels like it’s giving off Captain Jack vibes, with that coat?
Bernard Cribbins can also be seen on set in Camden Town, London; returning as Donna’s Grandad Wilfred. Tennant is next to Tate, and then they push Cribbins into the TARDIS, while in a wheelchair.

Heartstopper’s Yasmin Finney has joined the Doctor Who cast for the 60th anniversary, Finney will be playing a character called Rose.
The 60th Anniversary will air in Autumn 2023, there’s currently not a specific date released yet. Ncuti Gatwa will be the Fifteenth Doctor.
The series is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as “the longest science fiction television series in the world” and as the “most successful” science fiction television series of all time.
