The MCU Spider-Man movies have been in quite the quarrel, when fans have wanted the writers to at least mention Uncle Ben once. The only time that we got an MCU Uncle Ben reference was in an animated series called What If…?

Jonathan Goldstein, who wrote the story and screenplay for Spider-Man Homecoming has mentioned in an earlier draft, there was a scene that had Aunt May take Peter Parker to a wardrobe; to choose one of the suits once worn by Uncle Ben.

We wrote a scene where May takes Peter to the closet and they choose one of Ben's old suits which she still hadn't thrown away.

Maybe Peter Parker will finally bring an Uncle Ben reference into Spider-Man No Way Home instead?
