Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of Sony Picture’s biggest films, set for the end of this year.
There are both rumoured and confirmed involvement regarding characters returning from movies that pre-date the MCU such as Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Electro, Sandman and Lizard as well as the highly speculated return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. This surely needs to have a suitable runtime to accommodate everything right?
Possible runtime?
There are reportedly two runtimes to be earlier cuts of the movie. According to a highly credible news account called Big Screen Leaks on Twitter also known as One Take News, who recieved a scoop on October 22nd, that the ‘tentative runtime’ would be 02:32:55. Again this is an earlier cut that was subject to change.
Now finally since this, on November 3rd, new information came to light from a rising news account called @RCDiscussion on Twitter; also known as Cinema Reviewed who managed to investigate for the latest scoop, that the runtime is now being around 2 hours and 39 minutes; as a most recent cut. This is however still not the final runtime.
As well as Brandon Matthews (@RCDiscussion) bringing this 2 hour 39 minute scoop first. This runtime had also appeared soon after, on a website owned by Fandango called Ingresso. Now upon checking this again tonight, the runtime has been deleted there and back to the placeholder ‘0h’.
The studio is still currently working on finalizing the runtime. However, the film being reported as 2 hours 32 and 2 hours 39 is a great sign for audiences. As the studio is likely giving each character enough screen time and story, without being so cramped and rushed, considering that there is so much happening within the movie.
