A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated movie called Mutant Mayhem is arriving in cinemas on August 4, 2023.
Paramount Pictures movie ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’ is being directed by Jeff Rowe and produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver.
The new TMNT movie will be about the pizza-loving turtles who have been sheltered in the sewers for years, while secretly protecting the streets of New York City. They meet a new friend called April and attempt to win the hearts of humans, with their heroic acts. However, trouble arises as they all face an army of mutants.
At the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2023, a quick teaser was released that appears to be an animation similar to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, in terms of character motions and a sketchy style. The backgrounds also have an oil pastel-like appearance to them.
There are actually a few artist from Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse, who are working on this movie such as Tony Ianaro and Kellan Jett.
