Lightyear is a movie based on an in-universe Space Ranger/Astronaut that inspired the Buzz Lightyear toys to be made in Toy Story.
Earlier in October, during the release of the teaser trailer for Disney Pixar’s Lightyear. At the time, Chris Evans was officially announced for the lead: Buzz Lightyear.
After hearing the voices in the teaser. I wrote a theory that, Uzo Aduba’s voice was very similar to the character called Alicia Hawthorne. Now, the official trailer has been released: Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black) has been confirmed for the casting.
As well as this casting, Taika Waititi that was exclusively found by the Disinsider website in November 2021. New casting additions announced today: Keke Palmer, Josh Brolin, Mary McDonald-Lewis, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and Efren Ramirez are also voicing characters.
