A trailer has been released for the upcoming Apple TV+ miniseries The Crowded Room – created by Akika Goldsman (Batman Forever, The Dark Tower).
Tom Holland (Spider-Man No Way Home) has traded heroism for crime, when portraying his new character called Danny Sullivan.
The Crowded Room is a psychological thriller set in Manhattan, 1979; which follows Danny Sullivan, a bullied and troubled young man, who falls into a life of shocking crimes.
In the trailer, Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried) can also be seen investigating into these cases; which started with a shooting that involved Danny. This leads to interrogating the supsect, as well as working to uncover his mysteriously dark past.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Tom Holland discusses about taking on the role and how it affected his mental health “I really enjoyed playing Danny in those earlier episodes where I was able to lean into my more vulnerable side”, “the mental aspect, it really beat me up and it took a long time for me to recover afterwards, to sort of get back to reality.”
