There has been a teaser trailer released for Rick & Michonne’s spin-off titled The Ones Who Live, a trailer for Daryl Dixon and season 2 reveal for Dead City, all from The Walking Dead Universe. These were released after being showcased at this years San Diego Comic Con.
As the main TWD show came to an end in 2022, AMC+ announced multiple spin-offs, including the last season of Fear the Walking Dead.
The Ones Who Live trailer
Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) will finally be reuniting with Michonne (Danai Gurira). However, there’s going to be trouble, as Rick has got himself involved with a dangerous group called Civic Republic Military. These are the ones who took Rick away in a helicopter, at the end of The Walking Dead season 9.
The Ones Who Live premieres on AMC, in 2024.
Daryl Dixon trailer
An official trailer was released for Daryl Dixon; starring Norman Reedus. Daryl has branched off from the rest of the characters in the main show; shipwrecked away from America.
Daryl ends up tackling a different side of the apocalypse in Paris, France, where he’s chosen to be some form of messenger by a group of nuns. It appears that near to the end of the trailer, Daryl will also visit Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy, France.
In a February 2023 video; a resident was surprised to wake up to the crew filming for the Daryl Dixon series, in the streets of Paris. The performers were fully dressed in their zombie walker make-up prosthetics, straddling around outside.
The show will consist of six episodes and is set to premiere on September 10, 2023.
Dead City season 2 reveal
Maggie (Lauren Cohen) and Negan (Jeffrey Dead Morgan) are returning for a second season of Dead City. A show that brought the franchise back to taking place in a large urban apocalptyic environment. It doesn’t really reveal any new clips though, it’s just an announcement video comprised of clips from season 1.
Fear the Walking Dead
This show was the first TWD spin-off in 2015, and after 8 seasons, it be will coming to an end. There has already been 6 episodes released on Prime Video, and the second half of season 8, will also have 6 episodes, premiering on October 22, 2023.
