Let’s look at the fan picks, for who could be the next actor to play Harry Osborn. As well as, if there even is a Harry Osborn in the MCU.
There’s been 2 live-action portayals for Harry Osborn in the Spider-Man movies; James Franco starred in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, and Dane De Haan portrayed Harry in Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
In Spider-Man No Way Home; Willem Dafoe’s iconic portrayal of Norman Osborn was brought into the MCU, by the spell that went wrong.
There’s a moment where Norman is at the F.E.A.S.T centre, and he mentions: “I didn’t know where else to go. Someone’s living in my house. Oscorp doesn’t exist! My Son…“. Then Norman changes the subject, eluding to the mystery of his son.
Oscorp hasn’t started up as a company yet, however it could begin as a new startup in future movies or under a different name like Alchemax.
Norman doesn’t mention about there not being an Osborn family out there. This leaves the audience open to interpretations and possibilities of exploring a new Osborn family, for potential storylines in Tom Holland’s supposed College Trilogy movies.
Fan choices
I asked fans on twitter to choose their picks, for actors to play Harry Osborn:
1. Timothée Chalamet

Tom Holland has stated in an interview previously that he thinks “He [Timothée Chalamet] would be a good Harry Osborn… it would be good to bring him in as an F.O.S (Friend of Spider-Man) and he kind of becomes bad. He could be a villain!”. Timothée did also audition to be Spider-Man, but did not get very far in the process.
2. Charlie Rowe

There were a lot of comments mentioning Charlie Rowe. Surprisingly, he’s not had many roles yet. This could be the casting that brings him into star status. The fans also mention his name due to news reports that Charlie did once audition to be Spider-Man.
3. Cameron Monaghan

Cameron has a phenomenal career as an actor so far, he’s played a villain; an iteration of the Joker in the tv series Gotham. He voice acted and modelled in on the best Star Wars games called Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. He certainly has the range to be Harry Osborn.
4. Asa Butterfield

Could Asa finally get a role in a Spider-Man movie as the villain instead of the hero? As you may know, Asa Butterfield has also auditioned to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Except his take on this role was too different to how the studio wanted Peter to be.
Not everyone thinks there needs to be any Osborn characters introduced in the next MCU movies. It would make a fresh change than seeing a third Osborn storyline.
