Mary Steenburgen stars as Ginny; a mother who has fallen on hard times, while her husband Jack Grainger (Gary Basaraba) has also lost his job around Christmas time. It takes an angel (Harry Dean Stanton) and Santa to bring some festive spirit back into their lives. This film is more of a melancholy/dramatic and slow-build story to watch.
