New set photos have surfaced online while Jordan Elsass and Tyler Hoechlin have been filming new episodes for the CW series Superman & Lois.

Jordan Elsass is dressed in some form of superhero outfit. Elsass plays Jonathan Kent on show, however this seems like a totally different version of his character. Jonathan is seen wearing a leather jacket, red trousers and the House of El symbol.

Jonathan’s costume also resembles the first Superboy character in the 1993 comics.

According to Canadagraphs article where more photos can be seen, the Superman costume ‘looks like it hasn’t seen a washing machine in a few weeks’.

My theory

This is some kind of backstory on a different Earth in the multiverse about how Superman became a Bizarro version. Maybe he started off normal and not reversed in his timeline and then something happened to Kal-El. As the red cape that he is wearing, resembles that of what Bizarro has, in previous episodes of season 2 so far.
