I was later able to find a description for the movie, that now offers more insight about the plot.

‘This is a modern-day gothic romantic thriller that tells the story of a young woman invited to a lavish destination wedding in the English countryside, only to learn she has been lured there by a legendary evil.’

Movie title

After finding this out; this description seemingly matches up with a very similar plot on Imdb, and I have been able to find the title: The Bride (2022).

According to the cast list, the movie stars Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones), Thomas Doherty (Gossip Girl) and Sean Pertwee (Gotham).

Release date

‘The Bride’ movie currently has a set UK release date for August 26, 2022.
