The official trailer, stills and poster have been released on Star Wars Day ‘May the Fourth be with you’ for Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi – Releasing May 27 on Disney Plus. Ewan McGregor stars as the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
The series was previously delayed, as it was originally set to release on May 25. Now, there will be two episodes launching on the premiere date; May 27.
The limited series is set 10 years after the events of ‘Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith’. Obi-Wan is still coming to terms with these tragic events; the Jedi losing against the dark side, Kenobi losing his best friend, as well as trying to protect Anakin’s legacy from Darth Vader.
The trailer reveals a first look of Darth Vader suiting up and new threats arising: The Grand Inquisitor (Rupert Friend); who is on the hunt for Kenobi.

The limited series also stars: Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
