Head Writer, Russell T Davies posted on his instagram, that David Tennant and Catherine Tate are set to return in BBC’s science fiction series Doctor Who.
The Tenth Doctor and companion Donna Noble were on the show between 2005 – 2010. Now, both actors are returning for the 60th Anniversary alongside Ncuti Gatwa.

The showrunner has not made it clear exactly how Tennant and Tate will return.. teasing that it could be a ‘flashback? A dream sequence? A lie? A fantasy? A parallel universe?! Alt Doctor? The Land of Fiction?’.
The 60th Anniversary releases in 2023 and is also rumoured to be involving Edgar Wright.
Jodie Whittaker will also be regenerating into Ncuti Gatwa; as the Fourteenth Doctor in the 2022 centenary episode.
