Marvel Studios’ Armor Wars was first announced in 2020 – set to star Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes (War Machine).

Armor Wars is about Tony Stark’s tech falling into the wrong hands once again, the legacy of his company still heavily affects the MCU.

Armor Wars was also recently mentioned at the D23 Expo, this title was originally going to be a Disney+ series, containing 6 episodes, and was due to begin filming this year.

Now, in a new article from The Hollywood Reporter, the series will be redeveloped into a feature film, and will get a theatrical release in cinemas. There’s currently no director and the head writer (Yassir Lester) from the series, will contine to stay on as a writer for this movie.
