In a new video, Henry Cavill confirms that he is back in the role, and not just for his recent cameo in Black Adam. It’s the return of Superman movies!
Henry Cavill writes in his instagram caption: ‘A very small taste of what’s to come, my friends. The dawn of hope renewed. Thank you for your patience, it will be rewarded.’

The Man of Steel sequel was announced on October 17 by The Hollywood Reporter, and is being produced by Charles Roven. There is also a search for writers and a director. There’s no current dates yet for when this movie will arrive.
Dwayne Johnson has later written on Twitter that he fought for years to bring Henry Cavill back, and they [Warner Bros.] always said no.
