Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for the animated Marvel movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Shameik Moore is back to voice Miles Morales and when he reuintes with Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld), everything starts to go wrong and they are suddenly catapulted into the multiverse.

These two superheroes will interact with a whopping a 240 characters, ranging from: Spider-Woman (Issa Rae) to Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya), Spider-Man 2099/Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Isaac), PS4 Spider-Man and a villain such as The Spot voiced by Jason Schwarztman.

Synopsis

‘[Miles] encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.’

This animated Marvel film features six different animated styles such as the Syd Mead-style illustrations for Miguel’s futuristic Spider-Man 2099 universe.

A cast that also includes: Jake Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone and Shea Whigham.
