CG artist; Antonis Fylladitis, and his team from Greece have just created an outstanding fan-made Kingdom Come Superman short-film.
Superman: Awakens was created entirely with real-time graphics in Unreal Engine 5, while also Lumen technology. This short film captures the style of Alex Ross’ work respectively.
Focusing on an aged Kal-El; this Kryptonian (voiced by Daniel Zbel) has gone through his darkest moments as a veteran superhero, while outliving all of those he loved, and has now managed to pull himself back out of the depths of his despair, to find hope at the other end.

“It’s been 5 years since the release of our first CG cinematic “PROTEUS” and our desire for CG short films is far from fading away. But this time we wanted to try something completely new.
So, we decided to get back to it, stronger than ever, and do a fan-made film for a favorite childhood superhero of ours. Inspired by the legendary work of Alex Ross and the Kingdom Come universe.”

It’s not often that I cover much fan-made content on this page, however this short film blew me away! From the voice acting, music compositions to the overall design. It would be awesome to see a feature-length film in this CGI animated style.
