First reactions are in for ‘Super Mario Bros. Movie’

The first reactions are in for Universal Pictures/Illumination’s animated Super Mario Bros. Movie, and it’s looking to be mostly positive so far.

Super Mario Bros. Movie reactions are coming in with critics calling it ‘so much fun’, ‘a crowd pleaser‘

Variety Writer, Jazz Tangcay and Den of Geek News writer, Wendy Lee Szany have high praise for the films ‘incredible‘ musical compositions by Brian Tyler and the ‘score weaves in homages to the games throughout‘.

There are more reactions for the film with it being called a ‘delight‘ and the animation is ‘top-notch’ by Vanity Fair writer Rendy Jones, although there’s a vague piece written at the end where Jones writes ‘That said, it’s a Mario movie made by Illumination and I’ll leave it as that’.

Jack Black, who voices the character Bowser, seems to be the highlight of the movie, from these reactions; as he is being described as ‘the best‘, and ‘perfect‘.

Lets-a-go! The #SuperMarioBrosMovie is so much fun. I was grinning ear-to-ear the entire time. They handled the storytelling and the game easter eggs really well, and the music by Brian Tyler is incredible.
