BBC has officially released another new casting for series 14 of Doctor Who; an American actress called Jinkx Monsoon, who will be playing a villain. Monsoon is known for winning RuPaul’s Drag Race show in 2013, and then won again during RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

There are also photos and videos released of Monsoon wearing a costume for the series (below).

The costume appears to be musically themed with a black and white piano outfit.

However, there’s been no name revealed for the character yet. It’s being kept under wraps, with the role only being described as the ‘Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet!

In an interview with Pride site on April 18, Monoon shared about the production progress:

“Yeah, I’m in Cardiff, Wales. I haven’t begun shooting Doctor Who yet, but I’ve been having meetings and costume fittings. And my god, it’s just… it’s a dream come true. I’ve had a lot of dreams come true recently.”
