Chatter Box Film

I was invited to attend a Marvel/Sony Pictures UK gala screening, to see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

This was a blue carpet event, with a live DJ in the Superscreening room. It was a cool experience, yet overwhelming, being at this type of event for the first time, while also seeing celebs from the film.

Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy), Shameik Moore (Miles Morales) and Daniel Kaluuya (Spider-Punk) attended, to give a cast introduction at Cineworld, Leicester Square, London.

Shameik Moore was the only one that gave a speech to introduce the film:

“This film reflects this room, you know… everybodies included. This is for everybody, if you love Spider-Man, you’ll feel how intensional this writing really was. Anyone can wear the mask, it just takes that leap of faith and we bring that moral compass into the situation of this movie. It’s all about following what’s right and what feels right”
