Marvel Studios has revealed an official trailer and synopsis for the animated I Am Groot season 2.
It’s been good news for Guardians of the Galaxy fans consuming content; with the Holiday Special that released in November 2022, third film by James Gunn, that’s now available on Disney+ in widescreen and IMAX Enhanced and a new upcoming season for I Am Groot.
This galactic adventurer is a superhero shaped like a tree voiced by Vin Diesel, as seen from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
In the brief official trailer, Groot is surprised by a space-age looking ice cream van. Could this be a trick to lure and capture Groot?
Here is the official synopsis:
The troublemaking twig returns to mischief in the second season of “I Am Groot.” This time, Baby Groot finds himself exploring the universe and beyond aboard the Guardians’ spaceships, coming face-to-face-or nose-to-nose-with new and colorful creatures and environments.
The season will consist of five new short episodes, written and directed by Kirsten Lepore, from season one.
I Am Groot season 2 is releasing on Disney+, this September 6; to celebrate National Tree Day.
