Tom Hardy comments on Venom 3 resuming filming

Now that the actors strike has finished since early November; Sony Pictures has recommenced filming for the 2024 Marvel movie Venom 3.

Actor, Tom Hardy has taken to his Instragram page; to comment about resuming shooting, while also referring to this movie as ‘The Last Dance’. Could this be the final Venom movie?

“VENOM 3 The Last dance,
thankfully we are back to shooting; and I want to take a moment just to thank all the teams thus far on the ride from V1 to here all our fantastic cast and crew – good friends and family – we’ve come a long way – it’s been and continues to be a lot of fun.

“This journey, there’s always hard turns to burn when we work but doesn’t feel as hard when you love what you do and when you know you have great material and the support at all sides, of a great team surrounded by talented and passionate departments and when surrounded by people you love and care about it doesn’t get any better.”

Previously, Ruben Fleischer directed the first movie, and then Andy Serkis directed Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Kelly Marcel was involved in writing the screenplays for both movies, and will now be directing, in addition to writing this third movie, alongside Tom Hardy.

Where was Eddie Brock last seen?

After the manic events of Spider-Man: No Way Home; Eddie Brock and Venom were pulled back to their own universe, while also leaving a piece of the symbiote behind in the MCU, likely for it to seek out Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. They were last seen where the spell took them both back to a hotel in Mexico.

They have so far remained in the same area; before the strikes happened, filming was also taking place in Tate Aráez, Los Mateos, in order to resemble parts of Mexico.
