Furiosa Trailer: Anya Taylor-Joy & Chris Hemsworth stars

An official trailer, poster and synopsis has been released by Warner Bros. Pictures for the upcoming movie titled Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

This is a high-octane prequel spin-off, that’s part of the Mad Max film franchise; directed and written by George Miller, as well as co-written by Nico Lathouris.

Anya Taylor-Joy (The Northman) is starring as Furiosa, in her younger years; set 45 years into a post-apocalyptic and dystopian Australia.

Charlize Theron previously portrayed a future version of the character in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), during the time that Mad Max (Tom Hardy) was in the story.

Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke are also starring in the movie.

Official synopsis

As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus.

Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
