Insomniac Games has released a statement for Spider-Man 2, on PS5; regarding features yet to appear in the game, and there’s not going to be anymore updates coming to the game for this year.
Spider-Man 2 released on October 20, 2023 and has already sold over 5 million copies so far. Players are still waiting for the ability to access New Game+, change different times of the day, as well multiple other features.
In a newly released statement, the games developer writes:
We know players have been eagerly awaiting features such as New Game+ and Audio Descriptions, among many more. We have been working vigilantly on these features and require more testing to ensure the quality is up to our standards

What else might players be able to do in the Spider-Man 2 update?
When the new update releases, Insomniac Games has mentioned they have heard feedback from players wanting to be able to ‘change the time of day, swap tendril colors, and replay missions’. It looks like players may get their wishes granted for these features.
When is the next Spider-Man 2 update?
The next update will be arriving in early 2024 and there is going to be a ‘feature-complete list, closer to its release’.
Update February 7, 2024: the next Spider-Man 2 update is being released on March 7 and will bring ‘highly requested features like New Game+, new suits, and more!’.
