This schedule is covering movies and series that will be coming to Prime Video UK in January, 2024. Most of these titles will actually be available worldwide on the platform, and some may be exclusive to certain countries, however this will be made clear under each title.
5 January
James May: Our Man in India (Season 3)

This series is releasing worldwide on the platform and all three episodes will be releasing on January 5.
In season 1 and 2, James visited Japan and Italy for a few weeks to experience what life is like there, and now in the third season; May is travelling to India, as the press release mentions:
‘James’s task is to go full immersion: meeting the locals, eating the food, and trying his hand at everything from the ancient art of kite flying through to a bit-part acting role in a regional television programme.’

LOL: Qui rira le dernier? (Season 2)

A second season is being released worldwide for this French-language comedy show; where contestants face a ‘six-hour battle of hysteric humour, explosive numbers and side-spitting gags… this epic challenge will win $100, 000 for charity’.
The cast includes Patrick Huard, Roxane Bruneau, Fabien Cloutier, Pier-Luc Funk, Philippe Laprise, Katherine Levac, Mariana Mazza, Neev, Stéphane Rousseau, Tai TL, Rosalie Vaillancourt.

Foe (Movie)
This sci-fi/thriller movie from MGM titled Foe, is releasing worldwide on Prime Video. Foe stars Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal in this ‘haunting exploration of marriage and identity set in an uncertain world.’

12 January
Role Play (Movie)

Role Play is an action, thriller about Emma (Kaley Cuoco), who turns out to be secretly an assassin. Her partner Dave (David Oyelowo) is blissfully unaware of the chaos he will face. The movie is releasing worldwide and also stars Connie Nielsen and Bill Nighy.

18 January
No Activity: Niente da Segnalare (Season 1)
The press release is comparing this comedy cop series to a mixture between The Office and Brooklyn Nine Nine; where ‘Three couples on very different duties—2 cops, 2 dispatch officers and 2 criminals—are stuck together in their narrow workspace, be it a police car, a radio station or a container. As the wait prolongs, their personal stories unfold in comic dialogues and unusual bonds form.’
This Italian-language series releases worldwide, and the cast includes: Luca Zingaretti, Rocco Papaleo, Carla Signoris, Emanuela Fanelli, Fabio Balsamo and Alessandro Tiberi.

19 January
Hazbin Hotel (Season 1)

This is an animated adult musical comedy series which consists of eight episodes about a character called Charlie, who is the princess of Hell; rehabilating demons at a hotel, so that they may be able to reach Heaven. Two episodes release worldwide each week up to February 2.

LOL: Last One Laughing (Season 1) – Worldwide release
This is the Irish version of LOL: Qui rira le dernier? Which is instead hosted by Graham Norton; who oversees 10 comedic stars competing to win €50,000 for their charity of choice.
20 January
Meet Cute (Movie)
Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson star in this romantic movie called Meet Cute. Prime Video made this film available on November 25, 2022 (excluding the US, as this is on Peacock instead). However, it’s in this list because there is now a Latin America release date set for January 20, 2024.

23 January
Kevin James: Irregardless (Special)
A one-hour stand-up comedy special featuring Kevin James, will be premiering worldwide on January 23, 2024. This performance will be family-friendly; telling jokes about ‘parenting, marriage, and getting older’ as well as topics about video games, technology and more.
26 January
Expats (Season 1)

This is a six-part limited drama series starring Nicole Kidman, Sarayu Blue, Ji-young Yoo, about three American women expats living in 2014 Hong Kong. ‘The series interrogates privilege and explores what happens when the line between victimhood and culpability becomes blurred. Brian Tee plays Margaret’s husband Clarke and Jack Huston plays Hilary’s husband David.’
Expats premieres worldwide with two episodes and then new episodes weekly up to February 23, 2024.

Bottoms (Movie)
Other upcoming shows such as The Boys season 4, Citadel: Diana and Invincible season 2 part 2 are slated for 2024, although there has not been a set date revealed. Check out the review for Invincible season 2 part 1.
