Sonic the Hedgehog 3 teaser, Knuckles official trailer and new game

Sonic fans have a few upcoming releases to look forward to in 2024; there’s the third Sonic the Hedgehog movie, Knuckles series and Sonic X Shadow Generations game. In this article are castings, a teaser, and official trailers for the titles mentioned.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie

The first teaser for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie was released; revealing the ident for the movie. Shadow was shown at the end of the second movie although there has been no confirmation as to who is voicing the character in Sonic 3.

Jim Carrey will also be returning as Dr. Robotnik, alongside Lee Madjoub as Agent Stone. The laugh in this teaser below is confirmed to be Jim Carrey’s (previously when the teaser first came out; there was fan speculation this was Hayden Christensen). Update July 7, 2024: Keanu Reeves will be voicing Shadow.

Also added to the cast with their characters yet to be revealed are Krysten Ritter, Alyla Browne, James Wolk, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, and Jorma Taccone.

When is Sonic the Hedgehog 3 releasing?

Knuckles series

An official trailer has been released for the Sonic spin-off series Knuckles. Knuckles (Idris Elba) and Wade (Adam Pally) lead in this upcoming live-action series which takes place between the second and third movie.

Kid Cudi, Rory McCann and Edi Patterson are villains; looking to steal and harness Knuckle’s powers for themselves using Dr Robotnik’s technology.

When is Knuckles releasing?

In the U.S. and Canada, the six-episode series will be releasing on April 26, however for the rest of the countries which has Paramount+, there will be an extra days wait until April 27, apart from Japan which is yet to get a set date.

Sonic X Shadow Generations

An announcement trailer was released online, including a description about what to expect from the game:
