A live-action Teen Titans movie is in the works over at DC Studios.

James Gunn has added the new title to DCU Chapter One: Gods & Monsters and in an article from The Hollywood Reporter; Teen Titans is reportedly being written by Ana Nogueira.

The script for Supergirl must have really impressed James Gunn and co; as Ana Nogueira is also working on writing a screenplay for the live-action Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow movie, set to star Milly Alcock as the titular character.

In recent media, there are usually members of the Teen Titans such as Beast Boy, Robin, Nightwing, Starfire, Raven and Cyborg. However, the original 60s-70s team consisted of: Nightwing, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl, Speedy and Hawk etc.

It’s possible that Ana Nogueira could be writing a mixture of both into the Teen Titans movie or sticking to either only the original or new members.

Previously on TV, a live-action Titans series set in its own universe aired between 2018 – 2023. A Teen Titans Go! To the Movies animated film was also released in cinemas in 2018.
