There was a recent trailer posted on March 22 for Doctor Who Season One posted by Disney, which garnered 4.8 million views on YouTube. The BBC has now brought out a second brand new trailer for the show during Easter Weekend.
In addition to this, there’s official reveals for all 8 episode titles, and who will be writing and directing them.
Season 1 episode titles & release dates
Space Babies – Episode 1
May 10 (US)/May 11 (UK)
This is written by Russell T Davies and directed by Julie Anne Robinson. Golda Rosheuvel is set to star alongside Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson in this first episode.
The Devil’s Chord – Episode 2
May 10 (US)/May 11 (UK)
Written by Russell T Davies and directed by Ben Chessell. This episode will be set in the 60’s where The Doctor and Ruby get to meet The Beatles and this is also featuring Jinkx Monsoon; who will be playing a villain.
Boom – Episode 3
May 17 (US)/May 18 (UK)
This is the episode that is bringing Steven Moffat back as a writer for Doctor Who. Julie Anne Robinson will also be directing this third episode.
73 Yards – Episode 4
May 24 (US)/May 25 (UK)
Russell T Davies is writing this fourth episode, with Dylan Holmes Williams directing.
Dot and Bubble – Episode 5
May 31 (US)/June 1 (UK)
In this fifth episode Russell T Davies is writing, along with another by Dylan Holmes Williams directing again.
Rogue – Episode 6
June 7 (US)/June 8 (UK)
This is the ‘Bridgerton’ type episode starring Jonathan Groff. Written by Kate Herron and Briony Redman, and directed by Ben Chessell.
The Legend of Ruby Sunday – Episode 7
June 14 (US)/June 15 (UK)
Written by Russell T Davies and directed by Jamie Donoughue.
Empire of Death – Episode 8
June 21 (US)/June 22 (UK)
Lastly, the eighth episode is written by Russell T Davies and directed by Jamie Donoughue. Empire of Death? A very ominous title!

When is Doctor Who coming back?
Doctor Who is premiering with two-episodes on May 10 in the US, and May 11 in the UK. The episodes will release on Disney+ and BBC iPlayer first, before episodes air around 19 hours later on BBC One.
