Christopher Miller, Daniel Pemberton and Samantha S Lee have responded to the rumours recently spread online; that parts of Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse have been scrapped, causing the movie to be delayed until after 2027.
This caused quite the viral panic amongst Spidey fans on social media; when Jeff Sneider from TheInsneider reported that the parts of the completed work has been scrapped due to creative reasons, causing delays.
Daniel Pemberton; who is the music composer for the upcoming BTSV movie has recently responded to TheInsneider’s report:
‘Don’t really ever want to weigh in on this sort of stuff BUT would you ever believe there could sometimes be stuff on the internet that might not always be particularly accurate? Hmmmm…’ – wrote Daniel Pemberton, on X/formerly Twitter.
Storyboard artist on Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse; Samantha S Lee has also debunked the claims:
‘Checked with production today and can confirm nothing is scrapped everyone calm down’.
As well as this, one of the Beyond the Spider-Verse writers and producers; Christopher Miller has also responded to the rumours:
‘Nothing has been scrapped. The reels are coming along nicely.’ – wrote Christopher Miller, on X/formerly Twitter.
When is Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse releasing?
Originally, the movie was going to release on March 29, 2024. However, Sony Pictures removed the film from their upcoming schedule. Now, there is yet to be a new release date set for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
