Netflix has started to tease more of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things; there’s new set photos, a teaser revealing all of the episode titles, as well as when the show will be premiering.

*Season 4 recap; these are spoilers if you have not watched this yet*

At the end of season 4, the Hawkins group reunited when all “hell broke loose”; as the upside-down continued to breach further into their reality. Max (Sadie Sink) has been injured, leaving the character to be in a coma, Eddie (Joseph Quinn) was taken down, while in the Upside-down, and Will has seemingly been compromised by Vecna ever since he was kidnapped!

Final Season 5 episode titles

The titles of each episode for the final season of Stranger Things have been revealed in a new teaser. There are a total of eight episodes here:

First look set photos

Filming is currently taking place and there has been recent set images revealed during the making of Stranger Things 5. This next season is set in 1987.

These images include: Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin, Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) posing for a photo in a school cafeteria.

Dustin, Nancy (Natalie Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), and Steve (Joe Keery) appear to be sharing a car scene.

Jim Hopper (David Harbour) and Joyce (Winona Ryder) are posing for the camera on set.

Lucas and Mike are riding bikes near an 80s radio shack.

Theory about Stranger Things 5

Will is still linked to Vecna and can already sense that he is only badly injured since Steve, Nancy and Robin targeted his physical form at the mind lair.

The link works both ways and Vecna may use this to his advantage, when he recovers; manipulating Will to be betray his friends? Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the rest of the group may have to stop both Will and Vecna in order to save everyone else.

When is Stranger Things 5 releasing?

Currently, there is no exact date when season 5 of Stranger Things will release, although Netflix has revealed the show will premiere sometime in 2025.
