Marvel’s ‘What If…?’ Season 3 trailer brings in Storm

Storm as the Goddess of Thunder in What if...? Season 3

Disney has released the first official trailer and poster for Marvel Animation’s What If…? Season 3.

The Watcher returns to witness more Marvel characters across the multiverse; as they are now facing all new threats, and with these dangers, they need a powerful team-up.

Storm is making her debut into the series; as the Goddess of Thunder, flying in while epically wielding a version of Mjolnir.

Alison Sealy-Smith will be voicing Storm in this series. Sealy-Smith has also voiced Ororo Munroe in X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men ’97.

Anthony Mackie is finally appearing as Captain America, and Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight, in animated form. David Harbour’s Red Guardia from the Black Widow and the upcoming 2025 Thunderbolts* movie is also teaming up with Bucky (voiced by Sebastian Stan).

Simu Liu and Hailee Steinfeld are also cowboy/Western versions of Shang-Chi and Kate Bishop. Natasha Lyonne will be voicing Brydie alongside Haley Atwell’s reprisal of Captain Carter and Kahhori (Devery Jacobs).

In this trailer, some of the threats can be seen such as Dormamu, Ego, the Uatu challenging The Watcher, Arishem the Judge and many others.

When is What If…? Season 3 releasing?

What If…? Season 3 is premiering on Disney+ this December 22, and there are total of eight episodes which are releasing daily, with the final episode ending on December 29.

The Walt Disney Studios has also revealed a trailer showcasing Marvel content which is releasing on Disney+, in 2025. This reel consists of previews and release dates for Daredevil: Born Again, Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man, Ironheart, Wonder Man, Eyes of Wakanda and Marvel Zombies.
