Sony Pictures presentation at CinemaCon has revealed the title logo for Spider-Man 4, as well as art and a new release date for the third animated Spider-Verse film.
Tom Holland is starring in the fourth installment titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day; which is set to release in cinemas on July 31, 2026.
Holland is the only Spider-Man actor to ever get a fourth solo movie out of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Sony movies. Although, all three actors were able to star alongside eachother in Spider-Man No Way Home; which grossed $1.92 billion worldwide.
In addition to Zendaya returning, Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) is also confirmed to star alongside Holland, however there has no been no reveal of the character which Sink will be playing.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton instead of Jon Watts, this time. Cretton has previously directed an MCU superhero film called Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
A few months prior to this releasing, Avengers: Doomsday is arriving in cinemas on May 1, 2026, where 27 actors have recently been confirmed.
What happened at the end of Spider-Man No Way Home?
At the end of the film; there were threats from across the multiverse breaching through to their Earth to fight Spider-Man. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) had to complete the spell by making everyone forget Peter Parker existed, MJ doesn’t remember him either. Parker has to start his life off again, hence the Brand New Day title. Lastly, Spider-Man has a new suit, while swinging off into a snowy New York.
This fourth installment is also titled after the comic with the same name, written by Dan Slott, Marc Guggenheim, Bob Gale and Zeb Wells. In this comic there are characters which feature such as Harry Osborn, Mister Negative, Jackpot, Menace and Freak. Could Jackpot be who Sadie Sink is playing?
In 2022, the Spider-Man PS4 game actor for Mister Negative (Stephen OYoung) has expressed interest in playing a live-action counterpart if the opportunity ever opened up.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse art and release date

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse has finally received a new release date after multiple delays and it is going to be a long wait, as the film isn’t coming out for another two years; Beyond the Spider-Verse is now set to premiere on June 4, 2027.

At the end of the second animated multiverse film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse; Shameik Moore’s Miles Morales had encountered a universe where his variant is The Prowler.
The Spot has also become a larger a threat and the old Spidey team has regrouped to save Miles from every other variant hunting him down.
