Sony Pictures releases the official synopsis for Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse; directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson.
This is the third and final chapter for the animated Spider-Man movie. After the events of Across the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales is in a race against time to save those who matter most to him and his world, continuing to go up against threats from multiple directions across the multiverse, including most of the Spider society and The Spot.
Miles’ dad dying is a fixed point in time and if he tries to save him, the entire multiverse could collapse, or is there another way?
The official synopsis is of both high ambition and high stakes:
‘Hunted by Miguel O’Hara’s Spider Society and betrayed by his friends, Miles finds himself in the darkest corners of the Spider-Verse in search of a way home. Knowing that his family has been not only fractured but endangered by his calling, it’s a race against the clock for Miles to travel across the wildest reaches of time and space to fight for and reunite everything he holds most dear’.
In addition to the synopsis; Sony also released a new look of Beyond the Spider-Verse, with four new images from the movie.
Miles and Miguel are fighting in one of the images, a car scene with alternate Aaron Davis, Spider-Punk is kicking another character while mentioning they have to save Miles’ dad, while another image is showing Miles embrace his dad in an endearing moment.
When does Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse release?
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse releases in cinemas on June 18, 2027.
