Warner Bros. has revealed the first teaser trailer for DC Studios’ horror-thriller movie Clayface. As well as a brief synopsis and cast.
Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep) and Hossein Amini (Drive) have written the screenplay for Clayface.
The film directed by James Watkins, focuses on the origins of one of Batman’s supervillains in Gotham City called Matt Hagen/Clayface. Although, he starts off as a rising actor, admired for his looks and this is all taken away from him when he gets attacked.
In the trailer Hagen also seeks out the help of a doctor/mad scientist; who is working on experimental surgery to reshape his face with a form of modified clay… However this clearly goes wrong and descends into chaos.
Tom Rhys Harries (Doctor Who) stars as the titular tole alongside Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan, as well as Nancy Carroll and Joshua James.

When is Clayface releasing in UK and Ireland cinemas?
