At this years D23 event, Marvel Studios has announced the new cast of the upcoming X-Men movie.
The X-Men movie directed by Jake Schreier (Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts), releases after Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
*If you have not watched Spider-Man Brand New Day yet and have been avoiding all spoilers for the film until you do, do not read past this point.*
There has already been an X-Men member introduced into the MCU so far, and that is Jean Grey (Sadie Sink); who shows up in the latest Sony Pictures film Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
At D23, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced six more cast members for the film alongside Sadie Sink:
- Sadie Sink as Jean Grey/
- Kit Connor as Scott Summers/Cyclops
- Samara Weaving as Emma Frost
- Inde Navarrette as Rogue
- Maya Boyd as Storm
- Christopher Abbott as Charles Xavier/Professor X
- Adam Driver as Nathaniel Milbury/Mr. Sinister
There is no mention of who will play Magneto, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Mystique, Beast, and many of the other mutants who usually show up in the X-Men line-ups.
When is X-Men releasing?
X-Men is currently scheduled to release in cinemas on May 5, 2028.
