The BBC continue to post new ‘WhoSpy’ photos, for the upcoming Doctor Who 60th Anniversary specials and one previously that suggests Donna’s memories have been leaking through for some time.
Recently, I brought out an article detailing theories and breakdowns of the previous WhoSpy images, from the past week here.
The exterior hut and interior

This new photo of a hut, that appears to be connected with an image from the teaser trailer; seen in the above thumbnail, showing an exterior of a craft hut/shed, painted in a TARDIS blue colour. The hut is likely in Wilfred’s allotment or Donna’s garden.
And a still on the right in the right, from the trailer, that features the interior with similar lighting; revealing a classic Doctor Who comic book alien Beep the Meep, hiding in-between those plushy toys.
Why did Donna lose her memory?
Before I get into the image breakdown, here’s a brief explanation and Donna’s memory loss.
During series 4: episode 13, titled Journey’s End; Donna gains the ability to think like a Time Lord; caused by a meta-crisis, and all of that knowledge ended up being far too much for one human to bear.
In order to save Donna’s mind from collapsing, David Tennant’s Doctor has to put a psychic block on all memories about her adventures in time and space with The Doctor, including ever getting to know him. It would be like none of it ever happened to her. However, the psychic block doesn’t seem to have held up too well.
The plushy toys are what is looking like Donna’s memories have already been leaking from her subconscious for a while, and these are significant moments from her journey.
Each plushy that Donna has created, appears to loosely share some similar characteristics with aliens that she has seen during her time on the show.
Here is a breakdown of the craft hut plushies
Racnoss

Catherine Tate’s very first introduction as Donna Noble, is in Season 2 Christmas special: The Runaway Bride. There are strong similarities of red tones, jagged teeth and multiple eyes, (known on arachnids as laterals and median ocellis), in both images.
Donna deals with heartbreak after her would-be husband turned out to be a traitor working for the Racnoss; a large alien Arachnid queen. It’s also the first time that she meets the Doctor, making her and families lives change forever.
Adipose

There’s a striking resemblance to the Adipose aliens, from series 4 episode 1: Partners in Crime, that has been crafted on the left.
It’s also what would have been a memorable time in Donna’s life leaking through, when she was finally able to reunite with the Doctor, after spending a while away from the storyline. At this point, Tennant’s Doctor just finished traveling with Martha Jones.
Pyrovile

A plushy on the left appears to resemble a Pyrovile, from season 4 episode 2 titled The Fires of Pompeii.
It’s a time where Donna challenged The Doctor go against his rules of tampering with fixed points, to save at least a few people from Volcano Day.
This had a lasting affect on The Doctor and his regeneration later on; as he took on the face of the person (Peter Capaldi as Caecillius), who he saved from that day in Pompeii.
It’s not clear to me what the blue and black plushies are, infront of Beep the Meep. It’s possible that the one eye on the blue one could be a subtle reference to the eye stalks of Dalek, or just regular looking plushies, as there are ones in the background with one eye too.
When is the Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials airing?
At the moment, the only confirmation is that the three episodes are airing in November. It’s not even revealed on whether the specials will be over three consecutive days or separated to release per week.
Side note: Viewers on the Chatter Box Film TikTok page, have commented that the hut also reminds them of Amy Pond’s shed in the garden, and theme of waiting for The Doctor to come back.
Update: There is a new trailer arriving this Saturday September 23rd, it’s been confirmed by the BBC.
