George Clooney played the role of Batman in the 1997 movie ‘Batman & Robin’. This DC film directed by Joel Schumacher, was negatively recieved by critics; which tarnished George Clooney’s career for some time, causing the actor to consider the movie being ‘bad’.
There has now been heavy discourse online due to the rumours being pushed by supposed ‘insiders’ such as Grace Randolph and multiple other scoopers, claiming that George Clooney or even one of the other previous Batman actors will be back as the new main DC Universe Batman, for The Brave and The Bold.
James Gunn has finally debunked these rumours, when a fan asked if it was true about George Clooney. Gunn replied ‘Absolutely not.’
There were also rumours that Christian Bale would be the new main DCU Batman, and James also shut that down by writing it’s going to be a new actor.
The Brave and The Bold will see Batman; who finally fights crime alongside a young Robin once again. This time, it’s his son Damian Wayne. There will also be more of the Bat-Family in there.
The Flash movie that is due to release this year on June 16, does feature multiple Batman actors confirmed to be Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.
It is also possible that The Flash does pass by universes with glimpses of other Batman actors such as Christian Bale, George Clooney… etc. Barry Allen will be traveling the multiverse during this story. There will be a trailer releasing this Sunday (February 12) online and at the Super Bowl, for The Flash movie.
