The BBC has finally officially revealed the release dates for the Doctor Who 60th anniversary special episodes – starring David Tennant, Catherine Tate, Neil Patrick Harris and Yasmin Finney.
There has also been three new promotional images released for each episode. As well as release dates for the specials coming to DVD, Blu-ray and Steelbooks.
Doctor Who 60th Special release dates
These episode dates are for BBC 1/BBC iPlayer, as well as for Disney Plus, outside of the UK.
The Star Beast

Beginning with the first episode: The Star Beast; about The Doctor, Donna, and Rose facing the Wrarth Warriors and Beep the Meep, which are alao featured in the poster above. The Star Beast releases this November 25th.
Wild Blue Yonder

This second episode titled Wild Blue Yonder, will be releasing on December 2nd. There still remains to be quite a mystery for the plot, however I do have have a theory about this second special.
The poster features some type of robot with Donna Noble and The Doctor, being surrounded by mechanisms.
The Giggle

And the final third episode called The Giggle; where Donna and The Doctor going up against a familiar foe named The Celestial Toymaker, this will be releasing on December 9th. In the poster, they are both running from the Toymaker’s flying playing cards, while at a toyshop.
What time are the Doctor Who specials airing?
Here’s the time for the three Doctor Who 60th specials: in the UK, these will be airing at 6:30pm GMT and in the US these will release at 10.30am PT/1.30pm ET.
Directly after each episode airs, a new access all areas show called Doctor Who: Unleashed will be available on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer, in the UK, airing at 7:30pm GMT.
60th anniversary specials physical media release
The 60th anniversary specials will also be available on DVD, Blu-ray and Steelbook! All 3 episodes, behind the scenes, special features and more will be releasing from December 18, in the UK. More information about what is included in the physical release here, as well where to pre-order.
Who is starring in the 60th specials?
Joining David Tennant and Catherine Tate, the also cast includes; Yasmin Finney as Rose Noble, Miriam Margolyes as the voice of the Meep, Jacqueline King as Sylvia Noble, Karl Collins as Shaun Temple, Ruth Madeley as Shirley Anne-Bingham, Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart, Neil Patrick Harris as the Toymaker and Bernard Cribbins as Wilfred.
