As part of the 60th Anniversary special celebrations for the series Doctor Who; the BBC has announced there will be over 800 episodes of content releasing on BBC iPlayer.
These Doctor Who episodes will include the classics, going right back to the beginning with William Hartnell’s time as The Doctor, in 1963.
As well as the 70s, 80s and 90s content, these will be joining spin-offs such as Torchwood, Class, The Sarah Jane Advendures and Confidential, alongside the 2005 revival that’s already on iPlayer. These 800 episode will be available on November 1, 2023.
The BBC will also be launching an online archive featuring everything from interviews with the cast, to written documents, long unheard audio, and behind-the-scenes photos.
