Prime video’s animated series Invincible, finally gets a teaser trailer for season 2. It felt so long that there were “Where’s the trailer, William?” memes made about the wait. There also a special episode trailer for Atom Eve.
Steven Yeun returns as Mark Grayson, in season 1 he was born into a family, where his father is an alien superhero and his mother is human. Mark also found out that he has special powers, after being latent for years.
Mark’s superpowered father Nolan (J.K. Simmons), who Mark has always looked up to, turns out to have dark intentions for Earth. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season One, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it.
Is Spider-Man appearing in Invincible?
In the cast list on this teaser trailer ‘Josh Keaton’ is there. Josh Keaton voiced The Spectacular Spider-Man and multiple other characters for Marvel and DC.
A previous teaser for season 2 from January 2023, has Mark and Allen sitting in a Burger Mart; where Mark is scrolling on his phone, that revealed a skewed view of the comic book cover for Marvel Team Up: Spider-Man Meets Invincible (2006).
It could just be a fun easter egg, or Spider-Man may actually show up voiced by Josh Keaton.
Half of Invincible season two premieres weekly from November 3, 2023, and the second-half will be releasing in early 2024.
