The AMPTP has prolonged the actors and writers strikes in the US; pushing back multiple Sony films and Beyond the Spider-Verse that has been taken off from the schedule, now with no date set at all.
Madame Web has surprisingly been brought forward by two days earlier and is currently set to release on February 14, 2024.
A sequel to the spooky comedy movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife was going to be releasing in during the Christmas period on December 20, 2023, it’s instead been delayed to March 29, 2024.
Bad Boys 4 is currently releasing on June 14, 2024; with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprising.
There’s a release date for Venom 3 – starring Tom Hardy; set to premiere on July 12, 2024.
Sony’s Marvel film; Kraven the Hunter was due to release on October 6, 2023. This film has since been pushed to August 30, 2024.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse was going to release on March 29, 2024, and has now been delayed indefinitely, this means it’s been taken off of release date schedules until the studio can figure out the best time to release this movie.
One of the many factors apart from the strikes, has been trouble behind the scenes on the Spider-Verse films; with multiple artists coming forward, having allegedly been overworked by producer; Phil Lord.
There was also a new Karate Kid movie releasing on June 7, 2024, and this has since been pushed to a Christmas release date on December 13, 2024.
